Heavy Object Lift Animation
I created this project at Wits Digital Arts Animation
at The University of The Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The objective was to plan and animate a 3D character
that lifts a heavy, rounded object onto a pedestal in Maya.
I based the movement and positions of the character
on the Atlas Lift that one sees in Strongmen competitions.

This is one of my first projects that I have done in Maya that involved a full character animation
(without facial expressions) with another object.
Once I have more experience with 3D animation, I aim to revisit my projects (such as this one)
to improve on smoothing the animation and making it seem more realistic and seamless.
